All registered attendees will be admitted free of charge, but are asked to make a donation to the AWS Section 039 Welding Scholarship fund so that we can develop the next generation for the welding industry.
Suggested donations for the two day event:
Students: $25
Employed AWS Members or Non Members: $100
Supporting Businesses: $200
Or whatever you feel comfortable contributing,
all donations will be used for AWS Section 039 Scholarships (the money will stay in the local economy).
The symposium will be held in Petroleum Hall of the Green Center, at Colorado School of Mines in Golden Colorado. Seating is limited so please click here to Register!.
When we started lining up the speakers and topics we were going to charge $200.00 for both days. As we found our speakers and topics we all said that a $200.00 fee was way low. Just to hear one of the speakers talk on their topic could and would cost you or your company a least twice that amount.
We are not only having one great speaker, we are having 15 to 20 speakers all leaders in their industry and field sought out for the information they have.
So what should we charge for this outstanding symposium, which would be worth two to five time that amount?
Given the state of the economy, and because it's our inaugural event, we want to make this special event available to everyone.
Did I mention? Seating is limited so please click here to Register!. :) |
